Do I need to register on other exchanges to provide API keys?

No, users don’t need to register on other exchanges to provide API keys when using Single Broker. Unlike other terminal or interface products like 3commas, Coinigy, or TradeMate, Single Broker is an ecosystem that achieves seamless integration of multiple exchanges and DeFi instruments through its direct brokerage agreements with exchanges.

How can I become a Single Broker client?

To become a Single Broker customer, first apply for beta access through the Beta Access Form and a manager will contact you by email to clarify details and provide additional information. You will then be asked to pay the setup fee to proceed and the platform will send you an email with an invitation code. Register on the platform using the code, pass the required KYC or KYB verification and start using all the features of the Single Broker trading ecosystem.

How does the Single Broker platform work?

What are trading accounts?

This is a feature for separating trading activities based on the user’s strategies or investment goals. At Single Broker, each owned trading account consists of a bundle of segregated custodial wallets for various cryptocurrencies and exchange sub-accounts, which operate as a single circuit for allocations and trading. This allows you to deposit and withdraw from custodial wallets, move funds to exchanges, trade, and get funds back to custodial without any hassle. Also, directly from the wallet, you can use DeFi tools such as swaps and liquidity pools.

This way, you’ll be able to execute different strategies or invest in different assets without having to juggle multiple exchange accounts separately and 3rd-party wallets. Additionally, every trading account comes with its own analytics and statement for better tracking of your trades.

Customers can grant rights to their own trading accounts to other users of the platform, for which such accounts will be marked as managed.

How can I manage trading accounts?

We use a system of names, descriptions, and color coding. You start by giving each trading account a unique name and adding a brief description of the account that summarizes its purpose or strategy. Finally, you assign a unique color to each account in a way that makes sense to you and helps you differentiate between accounts easily.

How many accounts are available to me?

Once you sign up, you have one owned trading account available to you, which you cannot delegate to other users. You can create as many own trading accounts (or get managed accounts) as you want but remember that each account may be a paid feature depending on your needs. Consider your requirements carefully before creating additional accounts to avoid increasing your overall costs.

What are owned accounts?

These accounts give investors and traders complete control over their investment decisions. They are perfect for those who want to test trading strategies with independent portfolio analytics and see how they perform in a real-world setting.

Another feature of owned accounts is that you can transfer control of the account to another user if needed. They’ll be able to manage the account on your behalf. This feature is supported by a system of access rights and usage policies, which allows for flexible control over how the account is used and managed.

What are managed accounts?

You can share the management rights of your owned account to another user. The other user can then manage the account based on the policies you set and this account will be displayed as managed in the list of trading accounts on the platform. It’s up to you to decide on the terms of portfolio management, and the platform will provide the technical tools to make it happen.

This is a paid feature for managers, but the upside is that you are delegating day-to-day decision-making to someone with more experience and knowledge. Also, you’ll have the opportunity to free up your time while still benefiting from potential investment gains.

How can I grant access to my owned account?

In the owned accounts tab, you will find the option to invite users to delegate access. You can then set specific access permissions for that user separately for each of these categories: trading, allocation, portfolio, finance (deposits and withdrawals), DeFi (swaps and liquidity pools), and statements. You can also take away trading account management rights whenever you want.

The platform allows for unlimited managers within one trading account. So, you can invite different specialists, such as traders, risk managers, portfolio managers, and financial managers, to work on a single account.

How can I access someone else’s account?

First of all, the account owner needs to grant you permission to do so. The invited user (in this case, you) will receive a notification on the platform, and you can then choose to accept or refuse control. If you accept, the account will appear in the accounts menu in the Managed Accounts section of the platform. From there, you can view the account details and perform authorized actions, depending on the level of access granted to you.

If the account owner hasn’t granted any rights to you, the platform will block you from accessing the functionality to manage the account.

What are institutional groups?

This is a feature for creating and managing a group of users, such as fund employees or other institutional investors. If you start one, you’ll be able to recruit other users into the group and manage their access and permissions. For example, if the user is granted access to an account with institutional rights, they can sub-delegate access privileges to members of the institutional group without requiring the approval of the account owner.

This feature has been designed for trading teams that want to provide the highest value and low-risk management of their clients’ funds through the Single Broker platform. It’ll be useful for corporate users, funds, family offices, and portfolio managers.

What are workspaces?

What exchanges are available at Single Broker?

Single Broker offers a wide range of exchanges to choose from, including Binance, Huobi, Bitfinex, OKX, Gate.io. The platform also supports seamless access to liquidity pools of decentralized exchanges: 1INCH, SushiSwap, PancakeSwap, Uniswap v2, Uniswap v3. This provides traders with access to a diverse selection of cryptocurrencies and trading pairs.

We’re also working on expanding the list of exchanges to ensure access to an even wider selection of cryptocurrencies, ensure fast execution of trades at fair market prices and and increase crypto liquidity for our clients.

What trading instruments (markets) are available?

Our trading platform provides access to up to 98% of instruments listed on exchanges. Additionally, we diligently monitor listings and delistings, regularly update the selection, and strive to avoid including low-liquidity or low-quality trading instruments.

Which investment instruments are available?

Liquidity pools of integrated decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap and Sushiswap as well as centralized investment products such as Binance Simple Earn are available to users.

At our platform, we’re committed to providing our users with the best options available. In fact, we have exciting plans to integrate additional investment products and platforms in the future, so our users can explore even more opportunities to grow their investments. Which trade orders do you support?

All major exchange orders are available through our integration with a range of exchanges, including market orders, limit orders, stop-loss orders, and more. The precise list of trade orders available varies depending on the exchange integrated with our platform.

Does Single Broker charge additional trading fees?

We believe in transparency when it comes to fees. Therefore, we don’t charge any additional trading fees beyond the commissions charged by the exchanges themselves. Each exchange has its own set of commissions and requirements for reducing them, and we provide our users with direct and seamless access to the trading infrastructure of these exchanges.

Does Single Broker give rebates from trading volume?

Yes, we offer monthly rebates of up to 15% on all centralized exchanges trading commissions, which are based on their trading volume. The more you trade, the more you can earn back in rebates.

What is a multi-order?

A multi-order is a powerful interface module that allows funds and portfolio managers to quickly and easily copy main orders (with the option of individual settings) across different trading accounts. This feature streamlines the trading process and saves time, but you’re also not sacrificing the control and customization you need to manage your assets effectively.

Can I trade through the API?

Yes. This means that you can connect your own trading software or algorithmic trading bots directly to our platform and execute trades seamlessly through our API. How does a Single Broker ensure the safety of client funds?

We employ several measures to ensure the safety of client funds, one of them being custody — storing client assets in a secure and separate account with disaster recovery capabilities. Other measures are insurance and partnerships with reliable custody and financial institutions.

Single Broker also has a closed-loop asset movement scheme between custodial storage, centralized exchanges and smart-contract transfers, which helps prevent unauthorized access or movement of funds.

Single Broker works with a wide range of currencies and cryptocurrencies, including major fiat currencies such as CHF / USD / EUR / GPB, as well as popular cryptocurrencies like BTC / ETH / BNB / ETC / LTC / ADA / EOS / MATIC / TRX / USDC / USDT / XTZ / ZEC / DASH.

But that’s not it — we’re always working to expand our offerings and introduce support for new currencies and tokens.

What is a whitelisted wallet address?

To work with external wallets where you store your crypto assets, you need to whitelist the address of such a wallet and confirm the ownership of crypto assets (access to the external wallet). Whitelisting your wallet address is integrated into the overall first deposit process.

When you make your first deposit, you will need to take the Satoshi Test. Choose your currency and network, whitelist your external wallet address, and specify your deposit amount. In addition, the system will generate and add a small amount on top of the deposit amount to verify the transfer. Once the transaction is complete, you will receive all funds sent, including the Satoshi Test funds.

After completing the test, your whitelisted wallet can be used for all subsequent transactions on the Single Broker platform. This includes depositing and withdrawing funds without ever requiring another Satoshi Test.

How can I deposit funds with crypto?

If you previously whitelisted an external wallet address, you can freely deposit funds from that address in the Wallet section of the Single Broker trading platform. Otherwise, read the FAQ question "What is whitelisted wallet address?".

In the Deposit module, you need to select the currency and network, as well as your whitelisted wallet from which you are going to deposit funds. Enter the amount you want to deposit and the system will offer you an address to which you can make a transfer on the blockchain network.

How can I withdraw funds with cryptocurrency?

If you previously whitelisted an external wallet address, you can freely withdraw funds from that address in the Wallet section of the Single Broker trading platform. Otherwise, read the FAQ question "What is whitelisted wallet address?".

In the Withdrawal module, you need to select the currency and network, as well as your whitelisted wallet to which you are going to send funds. Enter the amount you want to withdraw and confirm the request. It may take some time for the transaction to be processed and confirmed on the blockchain, so there’s no need to worry if it does.

How can I deposit with fiat?

Deposits and withdrawals in fiat currencies are currently temporarily suspended. We expect to resume fiat transaction functionality by July 2023.

What does allocation mean?

This is the simple process of moving funds between different exchanges or accounts. At Single Broker, transfers are made transparently through the blockchain in a closed address loop between all platforms, ensuring security, speed and convenience for our users.

In the near future, we plan to introduce a feature to enable trading on centralized exchanges without needing to actually move cryptocurrencies. This will be done through post-settlement mechanisms with centralized exchanges. With this feature, our users will be able to store funds in custodial insured wallets, not risking or trusting exchanges for storage but rather trading on them.

Which platforms can I allocate funds to?

Single Broker allows you to allocate funds to all available platforms: Binance, Huobi, OKX, Bitfinex, Gate.io, and many others. Each trading account, whether it’s your own or managed, has its own seamless exchange sub-accounts. So, you’re able to transfer funds between platforms and accounts easily without having to deal with the complexities of doing so manually, using external wallets, or paying double network fees.

Do I need to allocate funds to decentralized exchanges?

No, all swaps are made directly from the custodial storage, and the resulting assets are credited there. When adding liquidity to liquidity pools or DeFi investment products, the funds are frozen in smart contracts. Upon withdrawal, the platform will credit funds to the balance of Single Broker, i.e., back to custodial storage.

Does Single Broker charge a commission for allocating funds?

Not at all! Single Broker doesn’t charge any additional fees for allocating funds. The only fees that apply are those charged by the blockchain or exchange for the specific transaction.

What is a multi-transfer?

A multi-transfer is a feature in which you can make multiple transfers simultaneously from one source to many destinations or from multiple sources to one destination through an interface module. This saves time and effort, especially for those who need to make multiple transfers on a regular basis.

What are the restrictions (limits) for API?

The Single Broker API has certain limits and restrictions, but they are mainly related to the number of requests that can be made within a given period of time. These limits can vary based on such factors as the number of requests per minute, the weight of requests, and other technical indicators.
